Ukraine conducted a drone attack on an oil terminal in St Petersburg, Russia, marking a “new phase” in the region, according to a Ukrainian military source.
The attack, aimed at targets deep inside Russia, reflects Kyiv’s efforts to strike back and develop attack drones with longer range to match Russia’s capabilities.
A Ukrainian source said, “There are confirmed hits. This is a new stage of work in this region,” according to Reuters.
