The 75th Emmy Awards faced a significant drop in viewership, hitting a new low of 4.3 million viewers.
This marks a substantial decrease from previous years, with a 37% drop from the last time the Emmys aired on Fox in 2019.
Despite this, Fox considers it a win as it became their most-watched Monday unscripted telecast in over eight years.

The ceremony had to compete with the NFL and the Iowa caucuses, which likely affected viewership.
HBO led all networks with nine wins, followed by Netflix and FX with six each.
Notably, Elton John completed the career EGOT with an Emmy win for Disney+’s Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium.
