MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell criticized Alina Habba, a lawyer representing Donald Trump, calling her “the current front-runner as worst Trump lawyer to appear in court.”
This comment came after Habba admitted in court that she doesn’t know how to try the case.
I don’t “know how to try this case, your honor,” she said.
“Imagine sitting in a courtroom and hearing the lawyer who you are paying say, ‘I don’t know how to try this case, your honor,’” O’Donnell said.

The case involves writer E. Jean Carroll’s defamation lawsuit against Trump.
Carroll previously won a sexual abuse and defamation case against Trump, and her new case focuses on derogatory statements made by Trump in 2019.
The trial began with jury selection, and Trump was present in court.
