The IRS has requested the dismissal of parts of Hunter Biden’s lawsuit against the agency, arguing that certain claims involve non-government employees and seek damages not covered by privacy law.
Hunter Biden’s lawsuit alleges that IRS whistleblowers and their attorneys unlawfully disclosed his tax information and that the IRS failed to protect this information.
The IRS seeks to have a portion of one accusation and the entirety of the other dropped.
