Adult film star Stormy Daniels, also known as Stephanie Clifford, has announced her intention to testify in former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial in New York, scheduled for March.

Trump faces 34 felony charges related to the case and has pleaded not guilty.

The trial is part of a series of legal developments as Trump aims for a potential 2024 White House re-election.

“Obviously, things have been next-level crazy, since I am set to testify in, at this point in time, March — obviously, that can change at any moment — in the hush money case,” explained Daniels.

The charges involve alleged falsification of business records to conceal a payment made to Daniels in 2016, which she claims was to cover up an extramarital affair.

Trump denies the affair and the charges.

The trial’s significance lies in Daniels’ expected testimony about the alleged affair, with Trump required to be present during her testimony as it is a criminal trial.
