Chelsea Handler, while hosting the Critics Choice Awards, made a playful reference to her ex-boyfriend Jo Koy’s recent controversial remarks at the Golden Globes.
She joked about Harrison Ford, Robert De Niro, and Martin Scorsese, receiving a positive response from the audience.
Koy had faced criticism for some of his jokes at the Golden Globes, including remarks seen as disrespectful to his writers.

“Martin Scorsese isn’t here tonight, but that’s not going to stop me from letting everyone in this room know that I would toss him around like a little Italian meatball,” Handler said.
“Thank you for laughing at that. My writers wrote it,” she said in reference to Koy’s Golden Globe flop.
Handler and Koy dated for less than a year and had been friends for over two decades.
Their breakup was announced in July 2022, with both expressing a desire to remain on good terms.
