Disney CEO Bob Iger received a $31.6 million compensation package in 2023, marking a significant increase from the previous year.

His package included a base salary, stock awards, stock options, performance-based compensation, and other compensation.

Iger returned to lead Disney in 2022 after retiring, while his successor, Bob Chapek, received $9.9 million in total pay despite leaving the company.

Disney has faced challenges, such as box office flops and declining TV viewership, prompting cost-cutting measures.

Despite progress, Iger acknowledged the need for further improvement during the company’s fourth quarter earnings call in November.
