Yemen’s Vice President, Maj. Gen. Aidarus al-Zubaidi, accused the U.S. of ignoring warnings about the threat posed by Houthi rebels to international trade.

He raised concerns at the U.N. General Assembly, emphasizing that the Houthis were regrouping and rearming, capable of major operations.

The U.S. military has struggled with Houthi attacks on trade vessels in the Red Sea, prompting allied countries to respond with missile and drone interceptions, as well as airstrikes. (Trending: Bombshell J6 Footage Raises Questions About Pelosi’s Team)

Maj. Gen. Aidarus al-Zubaidi said, “They wrote everything down.”

“They didn’t do anything,” he continued.

Consequently, many shipping companies have halted or suspended Red Sea shipments, forcing ships to take a longer route around Africa.

This situation will be addressed by U.S. officials at the World Economic Forum.
