Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis allegedly collaborated with the January 6 Committee to obtain evidence against Donald Trump and co-defendants.

The collaboration was kept secret and may have violated discovery requirements.

The committee shared evidence with Willis before a grand jury was convened, and later destroyed its records. (Trending: GOP Rep. Mace Clashes Directly With Hunter Biden At Hearing)

Additionally, the evidence collection process may have infringed on the civil rights of defendants and witnesses.

“Much of the January 6 Committee’s evidence was collected and presented in ways that violated the civil rights of defendants and witnesses, thanks to the fact that then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) blocked Republicans from appointing committee members of their choice,” one report noted.

Willis is also under scrutiny for an alleged improper relationship with a fellow prosecutor.
