President Biden is facing criticism for launching missile strikes in Yemen, prompting conservatives to highlight his previous social media posts condemning Trump’s actions in Iran without congressional approval.
The Biden administration’s decision to lift the terrorist designation for the Houthis in Yemen and the lack of congressional approval for the strikes have drawn criticism from both conservatives and some Democrats.
“Let’s be clear: Donald Trump does not have the authority to take us into war with Iran without Congressional approval,” Biden wrote in 2020. (Trending: GOP Rep. Mace Clashes Directly With Hunter Biden At Hearing)

“[Biden] is violating Article I of the Constitution by carrying out airstrikes in Yemen without congressional approval. The American people are tired of endless war,” Rep. Rashida Tlaib wrote.
Biden defended the strikes as a response to Houthi attacks on international vessels, emphasizing the need to protect personnel and freedom of navigation.
“These targeted strikes are a clear message that the United States and our partners will not tolerate attacks on our personnel or allow hostile actors to imperil freedom of navigation in one of the world’s most critical commercial routes,” Biden said.
“I will not hesitate to direct further measures to protect our people and the free flow of international commerce as necessary.”
