Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican presidential candidate, has suspended his campaign after a disappointing performance at the Iowa Caucuses, throwing his support behind former President Trump.
Despite earning 8% support, he outlasted big-name Republicans and focused on restoring America’s identity and reducing the federal government’s size.
His rise in the polls was attributed to media appearances and engaging with hostile attendees at campaign events. (Trending: 2024 Miss America Winner Crowned)

Ramsaswamy said his campaign was “founded on speaking the truth not just when it’s easy but when it’s hard.”
“It is true that we did not achieve the surprise that we wanted to deliver tonight,” he continued.
“As of this moment, we are going to suspend this presidential campaign,” announced Ramsaswamy.
“Earlier tonight, I called Donald Trump to tell him that I congratulate him on his victory. And now going forward, he will have my full endorsement for the presidency,” added the biotech entrepreneur.
However, he faced criticism for defending Trump and was accused of being a de facto Trump surrogate.
While his White House aspirations were cut short, many believe he has a future in conservative politics, possibly in Trump’s cabinet or with another presidential bid in the future.
