Two U.S. Navy SEALs conducting a nighttime boarding mission off the coast of Somalia fell into the sea and are still missing.

The incident, unrelated to recent military activities in the region, prompted a search and rescue mission.

“The two special forces operators were climbing aboard a vessel while on a mission in the Gulf of Aden when high waves knocked one into the sea,” one report noted. (Trending: Bombshell UFO Footage Released To The Public)

“The second SEAL jumped in after the first as part of Navy SEAL protocol to help a partner in distress and both vanished,” the report added.

Details of their mission and the vessel they were boarding remain unclear, and no further information will be released until the personnel recovery mission is complete.
