Senator Marco Rubio of Florida endorsed former President Donald Trump for the presidency, joining a growing list of Republican senators backing Trump.

Rubio highlighted that during Trump’s presidency, policies he had pursued for years, such as expanded Child Tax Credit and tough sanctions on Cuba and Venezuela, came to fruition because Trump was not beholden to special interests.

Sen. Rubio wrote, “When Trump was in WH I achieved major policies I had worked on for years (like expanded Child Tax Credit & tough sanctions on regime in Cuba & Venezuela) because we had a President who didn’t cave to special interests or let bureaucrats block us.”

“I support Trump because that kind of leadership is the ONLY way we will get the extraordinary actions needed to fix the disaster Biden has created,” he continued.

“It’s time to get on with the work of beating Biden & saving America!” he encouraged.

Additionally, Governor Doug Burgum of North Dakota, a former 2024 rival of Trump, also endorsed him at a rally in Iowa.

Gov. Doug Burgum said, “Four years ago, I was speaking on behalf of President Trump at the Iowa caucuses in Sioux City, and today, I’m here to do something that none of the other presidential primary candidates have done, and that’s endorse Donald J. Trump for the President of the United States of America.”

“Thank you very much. That was an honor,” Trump replied.

Burgum “has a great record in everything he has ever done,” he added.
