Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick, who previously avoided politics to protect her sponsorships, has now announced her entry into the political arena.
Expressing support for U.S. presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy and engaging with Tucker Carlson, she emphasized the importance of understanding and solving societal issues.
Despite criticism for her appearance at a conservative event, Patrick clarified her political stance as between Republican and independent, advocating for freedom of speech and a leader with business acumen and integrity.
Patrick said, “People should be able to live their lives however they want to in my opinion, as long as it’s not hurting anyone else. However, that’s the problem now. Whether it’s our food, skies, schools, free speech, media, or privacy… it is affecting my world and just about everyone else’s on a daily basis.”
“I want to learn more about what causes the issues we face and ask how we can solve them. The only side I am taking is truth. What do you guys want to know more about?! It’s time to get interviewing!” she exclaimed.
“Y’all are losing your damn minds over my turning point post,” said Patrick.
“Here is where I stand with SOME current issues and politics. I am not a liberal. I am somewhere between republican and independent. I think our country should be run by someone that knows business and has integrity. I believe we should be able to speak freely,” she concluded.
While expecting backlash, she seems prepared to navigate the challenges ahead.
