A major winter storm is causing widespread disruptions across the United States, with blizzard conditions, flooding rain, and tornadoes expected.
Over 1,800 flights have been canceled, and blizzard warnings are in effect for six states in the Midwest and the Great Lakes region.
The storm is also bringing damaging winds, hail, and potential tornadoes from Texas to the Carolinas.

In the Northeast, heavy rain and strong winds are anticipated, leading to flood watches.
Additionally, a record-breaking cold blast is expected, with up to 100 record-low temperatures forecast.
Another storm system is predicted to bring snow and ice across the South and into the West.
