Iowan Democrats are reportedly planning to participate in the Iowa caucus to boost former Gov. Nikki Haley’s results against former President Donald Trump.
This move would confirm that Haley’s campaign is supported by Democrats and establishment Republicans who oppose Trump.
Iowa’s “day-of party registration” allows for such crossover voting, giving anti-Trump voters an opportunity to diminish Trump’s inevitability. (Trending: Bombshell UFO Footage Released To The Public)
I’m an ex-Republican. But if I were an Iowan, I’d be crossing back over to vote for Haley Monday.
Voting against Trump in Republican caucuses and primaries is the most effective way—and a legal and legitimate way—to oppose Trump this winter and spring. https://t.co/6fPVqhbeje

Despite trailing in the polls, Haley’s team has not condemned crossover voters, and her spokesperson emphasized her efforts to earn every vote.
Meanwhile, the Trump campaign downplayed the potential threat, citing Trump’s strong polling numbers in Iowa.
“If you even had 5,000 or 7,500 people across the state cross over for her, that might be the difference between her and Ron DeSantis,” GOP strategist David Kochel said.
“If that is something they are relying on to get through the night, then poor people, I feel bad for them,” Trump Senior Adviser Chris LaCivita said.
According to the final Iowa Caucus poll by the Des Moines Register, Trump leads with 48 percent support, while Haley trails at 20 percent and DeSantis at 16 percent.
“The survey has almost nothing but good news for the former president,” New York Times’ Shane Goldmacher stated.
“He leads with every demographic group tested, performing most strongly among those without a college degree, those earning less than $50,000 and men who did not graduate from college.”
