Rep. Dean Phillips criticized President Joe Biden for the U.S. Southern Border collapse during a Democratic presidential event, highlighting the border crisis as an “unmitigated, embarrassing, unforgivable disaster” caused by Biden’s policies.
Phillips expressed concern that Democrats’ inaction on this issue could lead to a Republican victory in 2024, emphasizing the need for his party to address the border situation.

“The other area where I differ with him immensely is our southern border,” continued Phillips.
“I’ve been there twice. It is an unmitigated, embarrassing, unforgivable disaster, and Democrats, as Cenk said earlier, have to wake up to the truth,” he added.
“And I think it’s time that Democrats do, and I’m afraid that President Biden is at a stage where he has lost the ability to legitimately listen,” he concluded.
