Barbra Streisand’s film production company, Barwood Films Ltd., reportedly received $200,000 in small business COVID relief loans, which were later forgiven by the federal government.

Instead of supporting the company’s staff, some of the funds were allegedly used to pay for Streisand’s personal gardener at her $20 million Malibu home.

Streisand’s spokesperson disputed this claim, but records show the gardener was listed as an employee of the company.

The company’s last project was in 2017, and many of its “employees” are described as underlings who run personal errands or are domestic staff for Streisand.

Despite being worth up to $430 million, Streisand’s company received loans, prompting criticism given her vocal opposition to Donald Trump’s handling of the pandemic.
