Jayson Boebert, the ex-husband of Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, is facing charges after two recent incidents with law enforcement.
In one, he allegedly shoved his 18-year-old son, put his hand in the son’s mouth, and grabbed a rifle when the son called the police.

In another incident at a restaurant, he faces additional charges, including disorderly conduct and obstructing a police officer.
Boebert has been uncooperative with law enforcement, and his claims of being a victim of domestic violence were dismissed by police.
“‘I’m gonna drink some drinks before the f—– closes. I’m gonna get so f—— drunk, I don’t don’t even want to talk to you mother f——,'” Jayson Boebert said to police.
“Jayson stated he would be so drunk it would take a couple of days for him to sober up so officers could speak with him,” law enforcement noted.
Congresswoman Boebert declined to comment on the matter.
