Trump attorney Alina Habba defended the argument of presidential immunity by assuring Fox News viewers that the former president “didn’t kill anyone.”
This came after Trump’s lawyers presented their case for immunity in a federal appeals court.
Another attorney, John Sauer, argued that Trump could only face prosecution after impeachment and conviction if he ordered the murder of a political rival. (Trending: Anthony Fauci Questioned About Evidence Behind COVID Restrictions)

There are some judges, I could have the best legal arguments .. but if I’m representing Trump they won’t hear a word out of my mouth. She screwed them. Habba later tried to support this defense on Fox News, emphasizing that the use of hypothetical scenarios was meant to “frighten America.”
“The real facts are so easy to win that we have to now argue the slippery slope argument of, ‘If he kills someone, will he be held accountable?’” asked Habba.
“He didn’t kill anyone. He didn’t cause an insurrection. He didn’t get charged for it. But they’re using hypotheticals to frighten America,” she continued.
