Hunter Biden is scheduled to go on trial on June 20, 2024, facing nine charges, including three felonies related to tax evasion and filing a fraudulent form.
He pleaded not guilty to federal tax charges and could face a maximum of 17 years in prison if convicted.
“I’m kind of keeping you on a tight schedule,” federal Judge Mark Scarsi stated. “We like to move things along.” (Trending: Anthony Fauci Questioned About Evidence Behind COVID Restrictions)
Additionally, he faces three gun charges.
The trial date for the gun case is yet to be set. Prosecutors have already handed over most of the evidence, and some discovery in the Delaware case will also be used in the California case.
Previous negotiations for a plea deal fell apart, and Hunter refused the agreement, which included probation and immunity from potential future charges.
