He criticized the Biden administration and the press, claiming they are attempting to win through unfair means.
Trump concluded by expressing confidence in the legal process and a potential recourse to the Supreme Court if the appeals court decision is not in his favor.
“They’re losing in every poll. They’re losing in almost every demographic… I think they feel this is the way they’re going to try and win. And that’s not the way it goes,” Trump said.
“When they talk about a threat to democracy, that’s your real threat to democracy,” Trump said.
Additionally, a CBS News/YouGov poll revealed that a majority of US adults do not believe Trump should be granted immunity from criminal prosecution, with general public support for election-related charges against him.
