Rudy Giuliani criticized Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, accusing her of corruption and improper conduct in his and Donald Trump’s prosecution related to the 2020 election.

Giuliani alleged that the prosecution is invalid and unconstitutional due to the appointment of a special prosecutor and questioned the use of taxpayer funds for legal fees.

He also claimed that Willis and the special prosecutor had a relationship while the latter was still married. (Trending: Anthony Fauci Questioned About Evidence Behind COVID Restrictions)

Giuliani believes the case against him, Trump, and other defendants will be dropped, describing it as a lousy and ridiculous prosecution.

Giuliani said, “I would find it fully expected for Atlanta and Fulton County, which is one of the most corrupt places in America, which is the reason why it was quite reasonable for Donald Trump to believe they stole the election.”

“It would be unusual if they didn’t try to steal. They are systemically corrupt in that city, and this kind of proves it,” he continued.

Attorneys for former Trump campaign official, Mike Roman, filed a motion claiming the prosecution “is invalid and unconstitutional because the Fulton County district attorney never had legal authority to appoint the special prosecutor, who assisted in obtaining both grand jury indictments.”

“This is a criminal case for her. She’s the one that belongs in jail, not me. I didn’t commit a crime. Not Trump. She belongs to jail. She took $600,000 of the taxpayers’ money for a totally unnecessary first grand jury investigation,” explained Giuliani.

“The case was a lousy case to begin with,” he continued.

“It was ridiculous. I’m being prosecuted for being a lawyer. There’s nothing I did that I haven’t done in many, many other cases. They would have to prosecute half the good lawyers in America, any of us who are aggressive. As long as you’re like an accident lawyer like this Wade guy was, you’re OK. But if you’re really good lawyer and take on tough cases, they should all be indicted if I’m indicted,” concluded the former mayor.
