Megan Breen, a 21-year-old female prison officer, is accused of having an “inappropriate relationship” with an inmate while working at HMP Usk and HMP Prescoed in Wales between February and May 2022.
She faces charges of committing misconduct in public office and illegally accessing a computer.
Breen denied both charges during a court appearance and the case was adjourned until later in the year, with the trial set for November. (Trending: Joe Biden Caught In Another Major Lie About J6)

Officials allege, “While acting as a public officer, namely a prison officer, willfully and without reasonable excuse or justification misconducted yourself in a way which amounted to an abuse of the public’s trust in the office holder by having a relationship with a prisoner.”
Breen also allegedly used “a computer to perform a function to secure unauthorized access to a program or data held within the computer.”
The Recorder of Cardiff stated that misconduct in public office is a serious offence, carrying a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
Female prison officers have been allowed to work inside male establishments since the early 1980s, with approximately 15,000 women currently employed in jails across England and Wales.
