Donald Trump has announced his attendance at an appeals court hearing in Washington D.C. to address the extent of his presidential immunity.

He faces accusations of obstructing Congress and defrauding the U.S. government in an attempt to overturn Joe Biden’s 2020 election win.

Trump argues that as a former president, he should be immune from criminal charges related to his official duties. (Trending: Joe Biden Caught In Another Major Lie About J6)

Trump wrote, “Of course I was entitled, as President of the United States and Commander in Chief, to Immunity.”

After a district judge rejected his claim, Trump has appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals, suspending his trial scheduled for March.

The U.S. Supreme Court has also allowed a lower court to continue reviewing Trump’s claim of immunity from prosecution.
