The lawyer cited statements by Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, incorrectly referencing the Bible passage.

Israel responded by calling South Africa the “legal arm of the Hamas terrorist organization.”
The United Nations was criticized for rewarding terrorism, and Israel will have the chance to respond to South Africa’s arguments.
