Popular ‘X-Men’ Actor Dead at 42

Adan Canto, the actor known for his roles in “The Cleaning Lady,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” and “Designated Survivor,” has passed away at 42 after battling appendiceal cancer.

His death has left the entertainment industry mourning. Canto, born in Mexico and raised in Texas, transitioned from a music career to acting.

He appeared in various TV shows and films, including “The Following” and “Narcos.” (Trending: Joe Biden Sets New Presidential Record)

His portrayal of Sunspot in “X-Men” and Vice President Aaron Shore in “Designated Survivor” were notable milestones.

Canto also directed short films and was praised for his performance in “The Cleaning Lady.”

He is survived by his wife and two children.

Television and Fox Entertainment expressed deep sorrow over his passing.
