Melania wrote, “It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Amalija.”
“Amalija Knavs was a strong woman who always carried herself with grace, warmth, and dignity,” she continued.
“She was entirely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law,” wrote the former first lady.
“We will miss her beyond measure and continue to honor and love her legacy,” proclaimed Melania.
Donald Trump said, “It’s a tough one, a very tough one,” while discussing Melania’s sick mother.
A source told media outlets, “Melania has always been very devoted to her entire family,”
“It should be no surprise that she spent this Christmas with her ailing mother,” they continued.
