A leading strategist for JPMorgan Chase predicts that President Joe Biden will exit the 2024 race due to health concerns, likely between Super Tuesday and the November election.

He believes a replacement candidate named by the Democratic National Committee will take Biden’s place.

Biden will drop out “sometime between Super Tuesday and the November election, citing health concerns,” Michael Cembalest said. (Trending: Joe Biden Sets New Presidential Record)

Other Democrats have declared their candidacies, including Vice President Kamala Harris, who is unpopular.

Longtime Democratic strategist David Axelrod has also urged Biden to consider dropping out, citing polling data that shows Biden trailing former President Trump in critical swing states.

“Only Joe Biden can make this decision. If he continues to run, he will be the nominee of the Democratic Party,” Axelrod wrote online.

“What he needs to decide is whether that is wise; whether it’s in HIS best interest or the country’s?”

“It’s very late to change horses; a lot will happen in the next year that no one can predict & Biden’s team says his resolve to run is firm. He’s defied CW before but this will send tremors of doubt thru the party–not ‘bed-wetting,’ but legitimate concern,” Axelrod added.

“The greatest concern is that his biggest liability is the one thing he can’t change. Among all the unpredictables there is one thing that is sure: the age arrow only points in one direction,” he wrote.

Concerns about Biden’s age, mental capacity, and policy impact are prevalent among respondents.
