Indiana police released body camera footage showing the rescue of a man trapped in his truck for nearly a week.
The videos depict the efforts of first responders and officers to extricate 27-year-old Matt Reum, who had been in a crash and was pinned inside the vehicle.
Reum’s survival was described as a miracle, attributed in part to mild weather conditions. (Trending: Joe Biden Sets New Presidential Record)

“I’ve never seen something like this before, ever,” a Portage Police Department’s officer said.
“Quite frankly, it’s a miracle that he’s alive,” Indiana State Police Sgt. Glen Fifield said.
Reum is not only on the road to recovery, but has reunited with the good Samaritans who found him and the first responders who rescued him, FOX 32 reported.
He has since reunited with those who found and rescued him, expressing immense gratitude for their help and the generosity he has received.
“You guys turned an ordinary person who had a miracle happen and made him the most grateful person ever, and I cannot thank you enough,” Reum wrote.
“While me living through this, in and of itself, is a Christmas miracle, the generosity I have been shown has grown my heart three sizes this year.”
