During a campaign speech in Charleston, South Carolina, President Joe Biden was interrupted by pro-Palestinian activists demanding a ceasefire in Gaza.

Despite the commotion, Biden tried to appease the protesters and continued to criticize his likely Republican rival, Donald Trump.

He also emphasized his efforts to work with the Israeli government to reduce their presence in Gaza. (Trending: Fox News Star Accused Of Major Scandal)

“If you really care about the lives lost here, then you should honor the lives lost and call for a ceasefire in Palestine,” one protestor said.

“Ceasefire now,” others yelled.

“I understand their passion, and I’ve been quietly workin with the Israeli govenrment to get them to reduce, and significantly get out of Gaza, and using all that I can to do that,” Biden said.

Biden’s use of the Charleston church to insinuate racism against his opponent is seen as an attempt to shore up black support amid weak polls, despite his own controversial history on racial issues.
