“Thank you to [Succession] star J. Smith-Cameron for wearing a yellow ribbon at the [Golden Globes] — demanding the return of the hostages in Hamas captivity in Gaza,” one X user wrote.

“We appreciate so many advocates showing support for Israeli hostages in Gaza at the Golden Globes,” another said.

“During times like these, the entertainment industry’s support is needed more than ever. We commend those using their platform to Bring Them Home Now.”

The yellow ribbon tradition dates back to 1917 and gained popularity during the Iran hostage crisis.

The organization’s website displays a clock counting the time since the hostages were taken, emphasizing the demand for their safe return.
