An unarmed 11-year-old boy, Aderrien Murry, was shot by police despite having his hands up during a police call at his home in Mississippi.
Bodycam footage shows the officer approaching with his gun drawn, demanding to see hands, and then shooting Aderrien as he leaves the house.
Aderrien survived but suffered serious injuries.
The officer faced no criminal charges, leading to a civil lawsuit from the family for alleged reckless disregard for their rights and safety.
