Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador admitted that the Gulf Cartel released 32 kidnapped migrants, contradicting previous claims by government officials that the police and military had rescued them.
The migrants were taken by gunmen from a bus and later set free in a shopping center parking lot.
