Trevor Bauer, former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, is seeking a second chance in the MLB, acknowledging past mistakes and expressing personal growth.

He addressed his suspension and legal issues, emphasizing his efforts to make significant changes in his personal life.

Bauer highlighted text messages and a video as evidence in his legal dispute with the woman who accused him of assault. (Trending: Pro Sport Announces Shock Decision On Transgender Athletes)

“I know I’ve made mistakes,” admitted Bauer. “That’s kinda what I’m trying to focus on — how do I get better from the experiences that I’ve had,” he continued.

“I’ve made mistakes in my personal life,” Bauer confessed.

“I’m really detail-oriented when it comes to baseball and my training, but I didn’t apply the same level of scrutiny to my personal life. I made mistakes. I agreed to do things I shouldn’t have done. I was reckless. It hurt a lot of people along the way. I made things very difficult for Major League Baseball, for the Dodgers, my teammates, my friends, family, people close to me,” explained Bauer.

“I’ve done a lot of reflecting on that and made a lot of changes in my life to address that,” said the former pro athlete.

“I’m not having casual sexual relationships anymore, for example,” said Bauer.

“‘Next victim. Star pitcher for the Dodgers,’” read Bauer in a video.

“A text Lindsey Hill sent to a friend before she ever even met me. ‘What should I steal?’ she asked another, in reference to visiting my house for the first time. The answer? ‘Take his money.’ So how might that work? ‘I’m going to his house Wednesday,’ she said. ‘I already have my hooks in. You know how I roll.’ Then, after the first time we met, ‘Net worth is 51 mil.’ she said. ‘b****, you better secure the bag,’ was the response,” he added.

Bauer continued, “But how was she going to do that? ‘Need daddy to choke me out,’ she said. ‘being an absolute w**** to try to get in on his 51 million,’ read another text. Then, after the second time we met, former [San Diego] Padres pitcher Jacob Nix told her ‘you gotta get this bag.’ ‘I’ll give you 50,000,’ Lindsey replied. Her AA sponsor asked her at one point, ‘do you feel a tiny bit guilty?’ ‘Not really,’ she replied.”

He admitted to handling media and personal interactions poorly in the past and expressed a desire to play baseball again while aiming to be a positive influence in the sport.

“I also made a lot of people in the media mad,” said Bauer.

“I was very immature with how I handled things when people would write things about me I didn’t agree with. I should’ve just had a private, adult conversation with someone. I was bullied a lot as a kid. I don’t really want to get into that, but at the time I viewed a lot of my responses on social media as standing up for myself and having a voice. And I think I was just immature,” continued Bauer.
