Republican legislators in New Hampshire are proposing legislation to invalidate driver’s licenses issued to illegal aliens in other states, including Massachusetts.

The bill would charge illegal aliens caught driving in New Hampshire with a misdemeanor and is a response to Massachusetts and Rhode Island granting driver’s licenses and driving privileges to illegal aliens.

The open borders lobby and elected Democrats have supported providing driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, emphasizing the importance of these licenses to avoid potential arrest and deportation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Illegal aliens are already eligible for “driver’s privilege cards” In Rhode Island, which permits them to drive within the state and gives them access to many services.
