Rep. Lauren Boebert is under investigation after an alleged physical altercation with her ex-husband at a restaurant in her district.
Her ex-husband reported the incident to the police, claiming to be a victim of domestic violence, but expressed a desire not to press charges.

“I don’t want nothing to happen,” he said.
“Her and I were working through a difficult conversation.”
“This is a sad situation for all that keeps escalating and another reason I’m moving,” Boebert stated.
“I didn’t punch Jayson in the face and no one was arrested. I will be consulting with my lawyer about the false claims he made against me and evaluate all of my legal options.”
This comes after a previous incident in which she was asked to leave a musical performance for causing a disturbance.
