A series of significant winter storms is set to impact the US, affecting millions of people.
The first storm will bring heavy snow and ice to the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, followed by a larger storm with multiple hazards including snow, ice, strong winds, tornadoes, and flooding.

The second storm is predicted to bring blizzard conditions and severe storms, with a risk of flooding and strong winds.
As the storms move northeast, heavy rain may cause flooding, particularly in areas recently affected by snow.
Following the storms, an Arctic air outbreak is expected to bring below-average temperatures and the potential for more snow.
