The discussion on “The View” about abortion rights turned heated when co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Alyssa Farah Griffin clashed over the point of viability and the rights of the fetus.

Griffin suggested the need for a conversation about when a child has rights outside the womb due to medical advancements, while Goldberg strongly opposed this viewpoint, asserting that it’s a woman’s personal decision.

Additionally, co-host Sunny Hostin, known for her liberal viewpoints, openly revealed her pro-life stance attributed to her Catholic faith, leading to significant backlash and hate mail from fans. (Trending: Fauci’s Ex-Boss Admits The Truth About COVID)

“I personally believe I come down about between 20 and 24 weeks. I do think as a country at some point we’re going to have to have a conversation, technology changes, medical technology changes, about when a child does have rights outside of the womb,” said Griffin.

Whoopi Goldberg countered, “I actually don’t want to have those conversations with you. It’s not your business!”

“Listen, if I get pregnant and I can’t have the baby, I’m not talking to you, not you (pointing at Griffin), I’m not talking to the government about this,” said Goldberg.

“This is my body and nobody… you won’t let me make my decisions about my body? You are not the person to make that decision,” declared Goldberg previously in 2022.

“The reason abortion came about — women in this country lived forever with it being illegal. Okay? Women, when they decide something is not right for them, they’re going to take it into their own hands,” she explained.

Despite her personal opposition to abortion, Hostin disagreed with actions such as repealing Roe v. Wade and imposing restrictions on abortion clinics.

“The Republican Party in many respects is leaning on evangelicals for this argument. I myself am Catholic,” said Hostin.

“I have mentioned many times I’m pro-life. I’ve received a lot of hate mail for it. That’s my personal position, but there has to be a separation between the government and religion,” added the co-host.
