Braylee Estep, the political director for the South Carolina Republican Party, and her mother, Michele Stalvey Estep, were arrested for third-degree assault and battery by a mob after an incident at a Conway bar.
The altercation allegedly involved a third person, and the victim reported being assaulted by both Estep and her mother.
The incident occurred at a bar owned by the Estep family, and the victim and a witness reported feeling uncomfortable before leaving.
The victim and witness were allegedly pursued to their vehicle, where the assault continued, resulting in injuries.
Both women were released on a $5,000 bond after being booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
