Two bombs exploded at a commemoration for Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, killing at least 103 people and injuring 211 in Kerman, Iran.

The event marked the fourth anniversary of Soleimani’s death in a U.S. drone strike.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, and Iran’s state TV described it as bombings. (Trending: Obama Judge Issues Shock Ruling Against Democrats)

The location of the blasts, near Soleimani’s grave, suggests a targeted attack.

The incident has led to a national day of mourning in Iran.

“All attempts by America and Israel to destabilize Iran’s security will fail,” Houthi spokesman Mohammed Abdel-Salam wrote.

The general’s death in 2020 had sparked large processions, as his popularity had grown substantially over the years.

The attack is the deadliest in Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
