Sitrick & Company, a crisis public relations firm representing high-profile clients, was burglarized just before sealed court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein were released.

Michael Sitrick, the firm’s head, denies any connection between the burglary and the Epstein case, stating that no compromising information about clients was stolen.

Sitrick had represented Epstein, but claims he never met him in person. (Trending: Sports Icon Dies Suddenly At 56)

The burglary, which occurred in a building housing multiple offices, remains a mystery, with no signs of forced entry.

“It has to be a coincidence,” Sitrick said.

“There were several offices in the building, in addition to ours, which were broken into and robbed. All of our computers are all password and dual factor protected and encrypted. It’s state of the art,” he said.

“No one is getting into them.”

“I never met Jeffrey Epstein,” Sitrick said.

“If Epstein documents still existed [at his firm] they wouldn’t be on anything that was taken.”

“It’s very strange,” he said. “How did they get into the building?”

The LAPD is investigating the incident.
