A Florida resort canceled a book signing event for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after learning it was meant to commemorate the Jan. 6 Capitol attack.
Despite the cancellation, the Osceola County Republican Party continued to sell tickets for the event, offering tiered prices and special briefings.
“Please be advised that Westgate was not made aware of the purpose of this event when we were approached to host a book signing,” the resort stated.
“This event has been cancelled and is no longer taking place at our resort.”
Greene dismissed questions about the cancellation as “stupid” and expressed confusion about the inquiry’s relevance.
