Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of The View, criticized former President Donald Trump’s response to the controversy over the presidential ballot in Colorado and Maine.

She expressed disbelief at Trump’s decision to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court and questioned why he didn’t let the people decide.

Goldberg also commented on the sudden attention to the law and Trump’s potential disqualification from the ballot. (Trending: Fauci’s Ex-Boss Admits The Truth About COVID)

Whoopi Goldberg said, “None of this would be happening had he let the people decide who they wanted to be president.”

“He didn’t like that. He didn’t want that,” she added.

“Now suddenly they’re paying attention to the law,” said the entertainer.

“Where’s everybody been? Did you just wake up and go, ‘”Oh damn?!’” continued Goldberg.

“They say it’s going to be up to the U.S. Supreme Court to decide if the Constitution does indeed bar him from running even though the Constitution says, ‘Listen, if you do this kind of stuff, you can’t run.’ But apparently we always have to re-check with this fool. Every time he does something, they say, ‘Oh well, they didn’t mean him,’” explained Goldberg.

However, she did not mention that Trump has never been charged or convicted of insurrection.

The controversy involves Maine’s Secretary of State disqualifying Trump from the state’s 2024 ballot and the Colorado Supreme Court ruling him disqualified due to insurrection, with Trump’s name remaining on the ballots pending the Supreme Court’s ruling.
