As we enter 2024, Suffolk University's brand new poll shows neither party's Presidential candidate enthusiastically supported by more than 40% of the population and 3rd parties polling the highest since 1996.

The poll also highlights a decrease in support for Biden among younger voters and Hispanics compared to the 2020 election.
Additionally, it notes that Biden has lost support among younger voters on issues such as student loan debt cancellation and his stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict.
“Although Trump hasn’t grown support among Black voters, he has closed the deficit because third-party voters come off of Biden’s support among Blacks,” Suffolk Political Research Center director David Paleologos said.
“A young voter or a person of color voting ‘third party’ is a vote away from President Biden, and a vote away from President Biden is a vote for Donald Trump,” he added.
The GOP primary race is set to begin with the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 15.
