Billionaires such as Mark Zuckerberg and Peter Thiel are reportedly building heavily secured doomsday shelters.
Zuckerberg’s bunker will be located at his $270 million Hawaii compound currently under construction, which has hit headlines after workers revealed they were required to sign NDAs.
“The only other time you see that is when you’re doing secure military installations,” a construction worker familiar with the project said.
“For a private project to have an NDA attached to it is very rare.”
Zuckerberg and Thiel’s bunker projects have further sparked concerns in what has become the latest trend among the ultra-wealthy.
