Three employees at a Louisiana Academy Sporting Goods store were fired after chasing a shoplifter who allegedly stole a pistol.

The incident occurred on December 16, 2023, and the employees, including Michelle Sutton, pursued the shoplifter.

Sutton, who was a team lead at the store, expressed that the store’s policy on responding to firearm theft is unclear and believes they were fired for leaving the store to chase the shoplifter. (Trending: Fauci’s Ex-Boss Admits The Truth About COVID)

Sutton said, “I just took off, I knew I needed some form of way to help the police.”

She emphasized the need for clear policies and extra training for stores selling firearms.

“Every store that sells firearms, especially pistols that are concealable, need to have clear policy. They need to have extra training. They need to prepare for the unexpected,” added Sutton.
