Border officers in Texas discovered $10.2 million worth of narcotics hidden among a shipment of roses in a refrigerated tractor trailer at the southern border.
The drugs included methamphetamine and cocaine, and were found during a secondary inspection at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo.

Laredo Port of Entry Port Director Alberto Flores, said, “CBP is proud of the work our frontline officers do to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our communities.”
“This significant seizure is an example of ongoing operational efforts conducted daily to protect our borders,” he continued.
In the first two months of Fiscal Year 2024, CBP agents seized 7,200 pounds of cocaine and 29,065 pounds of meth nationwide.
