Donald Trump, facing multiple indictments and trials, could potentially run for president even if convicted.

During a Fox News discussion, one commentator suggested Trump might be the last candidate standing, even if indicted.

“He can be president from jail if he has to,” Dr. Janette Nesheiwat said. (Trending: Obama Judge Issues Shock Ruling Against Democrats)

The idea of a jailed president was met with mixed reactions, with some supporting the notion and others criticizing it as cult-like behavior.

Legal experts note that the Constitution has few requirements for presidential candidacy and doesn’t explicitly prohibit someone indicted or convicted from running for office.

However, opponents are exploring the 14th Amendment to prevent Trump from appearing on ballots due to his alleged involvement in the Capitol riot.
