Sen. Bernie Sanders has voiced strong criticism of the Israeli government’s military actions in Gaza, urging Congress to reject the Biden administration’s request for unconditional military aid to Israel.

He emphasized the devastating impact of the conflict on innocent civilians and urged support for U.N. efforts to alleviate the suffering.

Sanders also highlighted the disproportionate nature of Israel’s military response and its reliance on U.S. weaponry. (Trending: Donald Trump Breaks His Silence After Major Court Win)

“Enough is enough,” Sanders said.

“Congress must reject that funding. The taxpayers of the United States must no longer be complicit in destroying the lives of innocent men, women, and children in Gaza.”

“While we recognize that Hamas’ barbaric terrorist attack began this war, we must also recognize that Israel’s military response has been grossly disproportionate, immoral, and in violation of international law,” he added.

Additionally, he has introduced a resolution to investigate Israel’s bombing in Gaza, while also expressing concerns about the conflict potentially spreading across the region.
